Alethea Data is an Open Source initiative that addresses the challenge of organizing and providing easy access to public information for both public and private entities. Recognizing the importance of utilizing public information legally available in the public domain, the project aims to make this data more accessible and impactful for various purposes, ranging from simple data consultation to statistical analysis and the creation of citizen-oriented smart products. The developers behind Alethea Data observed the existing hurdles in accessing public information, including disorganization and the lack of standardized formats, making extraction difficult.

To overcome these challenges, Alethea Data focuses on developing an Open API that not only facilitates seamless access to resourceful public information but also ensures its availability 24/7.
